It is being reported in the German news media that the EU interior ministers have this morning agreed to provide the US with access to internal bank transfer data within the EU . This was pushed through today in advance of the Lisbon Treaty coming into force (tomorrow) to avoid the likely opposition of MEPs. As far as I recollect (but who can be sure that far back?) I’ve had no financial transaction to or from the US since 2002, but I’ve sent the email to the Minister and thank you for the opportunity to do so.

im not sure why the CIA would be so concerned with our matters, its purely a monitoring exercise that has no warrent.
