Irish Human Rights Commission given permission to appear in DRI action

Good news from the High Court, where Mr. Justice McKechnie has given the Irish Human Rights Commission permission to appear as an amicus curiae in our challenge to data retention laws.

From the Commission’s website:

“This case raises important issues about the extent to which laws and measures governing the monitoring of one’s private life by the State in pursuit of tackling crime possess sufficient human rights safeguards” stated Éamonn Mac Aodha, Chief Executive of the IHRC. Mr MacAodha continued “one of the priorities of the IHRC is to address potential threats to human rights that may emerge with developments in communications technology such as in the present case where issues of individual security and privacy are raised.”

Help.. even though a contract has expired between Chorus ntl and me self as the consumer with customer A/c no: 71533220 the above named company continously subject me into payments where their bill has been constantly changing relating one reason or another for over charges and lack of other advertised programmes as promised

att: customers are subjected into paying all costs even though there is no ethical geographical availability of such channels.
