Support Us
To help us continue working for your rights, please join us and support Digital Rights Ireland in our work; we suggest a subscription of €10 per month, but €5 a month can still help us a lot.
If you’d rather make a once-off donation, that’s fine too – please contact us if you’ve donated a year’s subscription, and would like to be considered a supporter as above.
From time to time we may contact supporters with details of these developments. As usual, we will not share your contact details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Digital Rights Ireland a charity?
No. In Ireland, charities aren’t allowed to take part in political activity. We are a non-profit company limited by guarantee – which means that we cannot distribute any funds to our members. As a registered company we are obliged to file audited accounts. Our company number is 410355 should you wish to look us up in the Companies Registration Office.
I don’t like PayPal / I don’t have a credit card. Can I transfer funds online?
Of course. Our bank account is with Bank of Ireland, a/c number 28358573, Sort code 90 13 51. For international donors, the BIC Code is BOFIIE2D and IBAN IE25 BOFI 9013 5128 3585 73. If you send us funds electronically please send us an email so we know who to thank.
Do I have to join as a supporter to get involved?
Absolutely not. We’re keen for people’s participation, not just their money. To contact us, email contact@digitalrights.ie or leave a comment on the blog. To keep up to date, you can subscribe to our RSS feed – we also have a wiki, and a feed for changes there. Finally, boards.ie hosts a forum where you can discuss all things related to digital rights.
